Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's is a Japanese anime series that began airing in Japan on April 2, 2008. It is the successor to the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime. It was then followed by the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime. It also had a spinoff manga series. This anime series was acquired by 4Kids Entertainment for broadcasting in the United States on September 13, 2008.
