Týr was an Isu who was later revered as the god of war, justice, diplomacy, and peace in Norse mythology. A member and former leader of the Æsir, he sacrificed his arm to help Odin imprison Loki's illegitimate son, Fenrir, for good. In addition to being known by the Anglicized Tyr, he was also called Tíw by the Anglo-Saxon pagans, along with the title of justice-bringer.
