Kusonoki Masashige (正まさ成しげ楠木くそのき: Masashige Kusonoki) is the posthumous overarching deuteragonist of The Mimic. He is the one who sealed the Four Beasts, thus being a major driving force in the story. He is also the main ancestor of both Yasu Masashige and Keiko Masashige, and the father of Hirosa Masashige (also known as Shaku). Kusonoki appears to be a large samurai wearing a black sandogasa, along with a long, flowing red scarf and what appears to be a black nagagi. He wields a large katana
