While it can be a cuddly creature, it stores electrical energy in it's pouch that it can unleash if it's threatened. It Evolves to Raichu if a Thunder Stone was given, and is the evolved form of xSSBC_Pichu_Stock.png Pichu. It received mainstream popularity partially due to the anime that stars it and Ash Ketchum and his long, long journey.
