The Caretaker is an entity that resides in Level 17 along with the Watcher. The origin of its name is unknown, since it doesn’t seem to be taking care or guarding anything. It’s mostly called The Caretaker for a negative reason meaning it will take care of you. “Care” as in take you out of your misery brutally. Its tasks are to hunt you.
