Canynes are Fanged Beasts introduced in Monster Hunter Rise. Canynes are dog-like Fanged Beasts. Individual appearance of these monsters differs greatly, with a wide range of colors, ear and tail shapes, and different markings being observed. Canynes are capable of moving at high speeds, performing great leaps and even climbing sheer slopes. The Canynes of Kamura Village are trained to become Hunting Buddies, similar to Felynes.
