The 2012-13 season was Fulham's 131st, and the club's 12th consecutive season in the Premier League. Martin Jol remained in charge to start his second campaign at Fulham. Changes for the start of the 2012-13 season included a new roof built for the Johnny Haynes stand at Craven Cottage, also with an application to Hammersmith & Fulham council to approve an extension of just below 5,000 seats to the Riverside stand, which would take the stadiums capacity to 30,000. This was granted by the council
